John F. Foley is a neurologist and researcher with over 25 years of experience treating neurological disorders.  Dr. Foley earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and went on to complete his residency in Neurology at the University of Utah. He founded Rocky Mountain Neurological Associates 1990. He currently practices at Rocky Mountain MS Clinic, which caters to over 2,000 patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) spanning four states in the Intermountain area. 


He started Rocky Mountain MS Research Group in 2006 in an effort to integrate clinical research into the MS practice to help resolve persistent problems facing the MS population.  His research interests have included immunomodulator safety and efficacy, fatigue and pain in MS as well as monoclonal antibody related progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy. 


Dr. Foley travels widely giving lectures and participating in outreach programs to raise awareness of emerging trends and treatments in MS.  He remains an active member of the MS Society Board of Directors, and is President Emeritus of the Medical Staff at LDS Hospital.  He has served on the Board of Trustees for the Intermountain Health Care Urban Central Region.
